Child Safety Standards Policy
Last Updated: July 7, 2025
MotoClubHub is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all our users. This Child Safety Standards Policy outlines our strict measures to protect children and prevent the exploitation and abuse of minors on our platform, in full compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Policy and applicable laws, including COPPA and GDPR-K.
1. Our Unwavering Commitment to Child Safety
MotoClubHub has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any content or behaviour that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. We are dedicated to creating a platform where children are protected from harm.
2. Prohibition of Illegal and Harmful Content
The following types of content and behaviour are strictly prohibited on MotoClubHub:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, regardless of its nature or origin. This includes, but is not limited to, images, videos, text, or any other form of media.
- Content that Promotes Child Abuse: Any content that encourages, glorifies, or facilitates child abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Illegal Content: Content that is illegal under applicable laws.
- Harassment, Bullying, and Threats: Any behaviour targeting children that constitutes harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- Inappropriate Contact: Attempts by adults to initiate inappropriate contact with minors.
3. Reporting and Removal of CSAM
MotoClubHub adheres to a strict protocol for handling CSAM:
- Immediate Reporting: Upon discovery or credible report of CSAM, MotoClubHub will immediately report the incident to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant law enforcement authorities in the appropriate jurisdiction.
- Prompt Removal: All identified CSAM will be promptly and permanently removed from our platform.
- Account Termination: Accounts associated with the creation, distribution, or possession of CSAM will be immediately and permanently terminated.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC) Moderation
MotoClubHub features user-generated content, including photos, stories, and ride descriptions. We employ a combination of proactive and reactive moderation strategies:
- Proactive Measures: We utilise automated tools and human review where feasible to detect and prevent the upload of prohibited content.
- Reactive Measures: All reported content is reviewed by our moderation team. Content found to violate our policies will be removed, and appropriate action will be taken against the offending user.
5. Safety Features and Measures
MotoClubHub implements the following safety features to empower users and protect children:
In-App Reporting Tools
- Users can easily report inappropriate content, suspicious behaviour, or violations of our Child Safety Standards Policy directly within the application.
- Reporting options are clearly accessible on user profiles, ride posts, and messaging interfaces.
User Blocking Functionality
- Users have the ability to block other users, preventing them from viewing their content, sending messages, or interacting with them on the platform.
Private Messaging Controls
- Users have control over who can send them private messages (e.g., only approved connections/friends).
- Age-Specific Controls: While MotoClubHub is primarily intended for adult users, if a user is identified or self-declares as a minor (where applicable), stricter messaging controls may be automatically applied, limiting direct messaging from strangers.
Location Sharing Controls
- Location sharing for meet-ups is an opt-in feature. Users have clear control over when and with whom their location is shared.
- Clear warnings are provided regarding the implications of sharing location data.
Privacy Settings
- Accessible and understandable privacy settings allow users to control their profile visibility, content sharing, and interaction preferences.
Safety Education
- We provide safety tips and encourage users to report any concerns.
6. Age Restrictions and Verification
- MotoClubHub is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Motorcycle riding, especially in group settings, is an activity primarily for adults.
- Users are required to confirm they meet the minimum age requirement during the registration process.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will take steps to terminate their account and delete their personal information, in compliance with COPPA and GDPR-K.
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter any content or behaviour that violates this Child Safety Standards Policy, or if you have concerns about the safety of a child on our platform, please report it immediately:
- In-App Reporting: Use the dedicated reporting tools within the MotoClubHub application.
- Email: Contact our support team directly at support@motoclubhub.com.
Please provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots, user IDs, and timestamps, to help us investigate thoroughly.
8. Enforcement Actions
Violations of this policy will result in:
- Immediate removal of prohibited content.
- Temporary or permanent suspension/termination of user accounts.
- Reporting to relevant authorities where legally required (e.g., CSAM).
9. Data Privacy
MotoClubHub collects and processes user data in accordance with our comprehensive Privacy Policy. We adhere to all applicable data protection laws, including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR-K (General Data Protection Regulation - Kids).
